Our happy and large group of 12 was cheerfully accommodated with some table juggling! Jo was fantastic and told us some history, funny, and spooky stories from the area and her personal 30km adventures!!! We broke in the brand new Chef on his first day! Well done and thank you! We will for sure be back to enjoy the fun and comfortable atmosphere as well as the cheerful service! Thank you Jo and Chef for making our impromptu family outing very enjoyable!
This is a wonderful, cozy restaurant, with a welcome atmosphere. Jo served us and was one of the kindest servers I've ever had. The food was delicious (I had steak, my wife had a fish soup), and the room is open and has plenty of space for people to just stretch and relax without feeling crowded in. Just highly recommend this place if you are in the area (or even if you have to go a bit out of your way).
Stopped here for a meal on our way back from camping trip. The main hall was pretty busy, so we sat in the back. Service was great, although there was only one very friendly lady serving everyone, she was quite fast with menu and drinks. Food took a little longer to get to our table, but it was not a significant amount of time that would bother us. Our wait was totally worth it. Burgers were great, the taste, the structure, and toppings bonded together for one solid tasty burger the bun that didn't get soggy and stayed in one piece while you finish your burger. Fries were crispy, just like we like them, just would be willing to have a little more of them on the side. Maybe it was just us wanting them more, as they just hit our taste buds so good. Overall experience was very good, can recommend for a visit, and if in the area will stop by again. For the food, maybe not the best burger I've tried, but it definitely hit my Top 5.
Had an amazing lunch with friends and several kids! Jo, our server, was fantastic – super friendly and attentive, making sure everyone was happy. The food was delicious, and the family-friendly vibe was perfect. Highly recommend!
Stopped in here on the way home from a trip, and was not disappointed! I got the Veggie Pasta and it was delicious and a very big portion size! The atmosphere was nice, and the staff (there was seemingly only one person working at the time) was also very kind.
Great service and food under new management! My mushroom chicken & pasta was a great portion and plenty of veggies for the price. The chicken sandwich was 'the best I've had in a while,' according to my partner. Excited to head back there for wing night on Tuesday!
Lunch date with my Mom. We sat in the back overlooking the rushing river. The atmosphere was great! Jo our server was amazing! The food was delicious! The serving size was generous so we had leftovers to take home with us which were just a good warmed up again. We highly recommend this lovely pub/restaurant and will be sure to return again & again. Thank you Jo for your incredible service & yummy food
Jo was wonderful. Very pleasant and welcoming. The food was fantastic. We went on a quiet night but it has a small town pub feel and I loved it.
